Description:

Use this program to review equipment that is due for service.  Equipment appears on this report when it has one or more work steps associated with it that have been marked as Maintenance=Y, and the time frame for performing any one of those maintenance steps for the equipment has arrived.

Navigation

Review the equipment that is due for service.  Use the filters at the top of the screen and the filters above the columns to focus the list on the specific equipment you want to review.  Various options are available for reviewing additional information for each piece of equipment such as GPS alerts and maintenance history.  Function keys allow you to view the list in different modes (single location, region, district, and all locations) and to sort the list by color.

Options

Option

Description

1

Create Work Order.  Enter 1 in the Option field to advance to the Open Work Order program so you can create a work order for maintenance of that equipment.

Alerts.  Enter 2 in the Option field to advance to the Alert Listing program for that equipment.

Track.  Enter 3 in the Option field to advance to the Tracking Detail Listing screen for that equipment.

Detail.  Enter 5 in the Option field to advance to the Equipment Detail Inquiry screen for that equipment.

Steps.  Enter 6 in the Option field to advance to the Equipment Maintenance Entry program.

7

Ping.  Enter 7 in the Option field to ping the GPS-tracked equipment and determine its location.

8

Transactions.  Enter 8 in the Option field to advance to the Equipment Rental History program.

9

Maintenance History.  Enter 9 in the Option field to advance to the Work Order Inquiry program.

 

Fields

Customer Number

Enter the number of a customer for which you would like to review equipment they have on rent that is due for service.

 

Job Number

Enter the number of a job for which you would like to review equipment that is on rent and that is also due for service.

 

Project Number

Enter the number of a project for which you would like to review equipment that is on rent and that is also due for service.

 

Category/Class/Subclass

Enter the IDs of the equipment category, class, and subclass for which you want to review equipment due for service.

 

Equipment Type

Enter the codes of the equipment types that you want to include (I) or omit (O) in the equipment due for service list.

 

Equipment Status

Enter the codes of the equipment statuses that you want to include (I) or omit (O) in the equipment due for service list.

 

Service Contract

Indicate if you want to include (I), exclude (E), or only list (O) equipment due for service that have service contracts associated with them.

Equipment Due for Service List

 

Equipment

Displays the number of the equipment that is due for service.

 

Make

Displays the name of the equipment's manufacturer.

 

Model

Displays the name or number associated with the specific piece of equipment.

 

Last Maintained

Displays the date that the equipment was last serviced.

 

Days Due/Current Meter (F8)

Displays the number of days since the equipment became due for service, or the current meter reading for the equipment.

 

Percent

Displays the percentage of time until service is due.

 

Status

Displays the current status of the equipment.

 

Location

Displays the current location for the equipment or the location from which it was rented.

Description

F1

Help.  Place your cursor in a field and press F1 to access online help for that field.  Place your cursor outside of any field, and press F1 to access online help at the program level.

F3

Exit.  Exit the page or program.

F4

Search.  Place your cursor in a searchable field and press F4 to access a lookup window or more advanced search screen.

F5

Refresh.  Refresh the screen and remove entered data.

F6

Sort/Color.  Open the Sort and Color Options popup window to enter your sort and color options for the equipment list.

F7

Mode Selection.  Toggle the mode of the equipment list from one location to all locations, region, or district.

F8

Meter.  Toggle the equipment list to display either the equipment's meter reading or the number of days that service has been due.

F10

Track.  Toggle the equipment list to display all equipment due for service or just GPS-tracked equipment due for service.
