Description:

Use this screen to review the reported tracking details for a specific piece of equipment.  GPS-tracked equipment is reported on in intervals specified in the Default Reporting Intervals program.

Navigation

Access this screen from the Equipment Tracking program by entering a 3 in the Option field for a piece of equipment.  You can change the equipment number to view details for other GPS-tracked equipment, and you can press F9 or F10 to cycle through equipment in numerical order.  To narrow the list of detail records, enter a date/time range.

Fields

Equipment number

When you enter this program from Equipment Tracking you can enter or accept the number for the equipment for which you want to see tracking details.

 

From Date/Time

Enter a starting date and time for a range of dates for which you want to see tracking.

 

To Date/Time

Enter an ending date and time for a range of dates for which you want to see tracking.

 

Category/Class

Displays the category/class number and description for the equipment tracking you are reviewing.

 

Status

Displays the current status of the equipment.  Valid codes include:

• A - Available

• D - Down - Long Term

• N - Down - Short Term

• R - down - Wash Rack

• I - In Transit

• J - Junked

• M - Missing

• O - On Rent

• P - On Rental Purchase

• K - On Truck

• U - Pick-up

• V - Returned to Vendor

• S - Sold

• T - Stolen

Date

Displays the date of the tracking.

 

Time

Displays the time of the tracking.

 

Hour Meter

Displays the reading of the equipment's meter at the time it was located.

 

Latitude

Displays the latitudinal reading for the location of the equipment.

 

Longitude

Displays the longitudinal reading for the location of the equipment.

 

GPS Date

Displays the GPS system date when the equipment was located.

 

GPS Time

Displays the GPS system time when the equipment was located.

 

Function Keys

Function Key	Description
F1	Help.  Place your cursor in a field and press F1 to access online help for that field.  Place your cursor outside of any field, and press F1 to access online help at the program level.
F3	Exit.  Exit the page or program.
F4	Search.  Place your cursor in a searchable field and press F4 to access a lookup window or more advanced search screen.
F6	Ping.  Send a signal to the GPS tracking device on the equipment to pinpoint its position.
F7	Alert.  Advance to the Alert Listing program.
F9	Previous/Next Equipment Number.  Press F9 to review tracking details for the equipment number previous to the current number.  Press F10 to review tracking details for the equipment number after the current number.
F10
F11	Detail.  Display another line of detail for each record.  This detail shows the position of the equipment relative to a city.
F12	Cancel/Previous.  Exit the program or move back a screen.
F15 (Shift + F3)	Summary.  Advance to the Summary screen that displays a graph of the equipment's usage by date.
F17 (Shift + F5)	Top/Bottom List.  Press F18 to advance directly to the bottom of the list.  Press F17 to return to the top of the list.
F18 (Shift + F6)
F24 (Shift + F12)	More.  Display more available function keys for the program.
