Tag Range Entry - Launch
Program/Screen: RATAGM/RATAGM10
Description:
Use this screen to launch the Equipment Tag Range Entry program where you enter or update the range of physical inventory tag numbers for a location before beginning the physical count. The program creates tag numbers for both serialized equipment and bulk equipment, but not at the same time. See the Navigation section below for more information.
Run this program only after answering Y
to the Clear Tag Range File
field in the Clear Found Equipment File
program.

Navigation
Enter or accept the location for which you want to create a range of tag numbers for a physical inventory. To create a tag range for serialized equipment, enter N in the Bulk Range field. To create a tag range for bulk equipment, enter Y in the Bulk Range field.
Press Enter to advance to the next screen where you enter the range of tag numbers.

Fields
Enter or accept the location for which you want to create a range of physical inventory tag numbers.
Indicate whether you want to create a tag range for bulk equipment (Y) or for serialized equipment (N).
