Use this screen to select an existing location record to maintain or to copy to create a new location.
Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.
Access this screen by entering a company on the System Location Maintenance - Launch screen. Use the filters above the columns to focus the list on the locations you want to work with. Use the options to work with the locations in various ways. In order to create a new location, select an existing location that is most like your new location, and enter Option 3 to copy it and use it as a template for the new location.

Displays the company in which the location is set up.
Displays the location code.
Displays the current status of the location. Use Option 4 to change the status. Valid status codes are:
A - Active
I - Inactive
D - Closed
F - Future
Displays the district in which the location was placed.
Displays the region in which the location was placed for inventory purposes. This is used when viewing quantity on hand for an item or piece of equipment by region.
Displays the region in which the location was placed for analysis purposes.
Displays either the name given to the location/branch or the heading for this location on reports. Use F7 to toggle the column heading.
Displays the name of the location that will display or print in areas where the full branch name cannot be displayed.
