Description:
Use this screen to launch the Sales to Rental Transfer program where you transfer an item from your sales inventory into your rental inventory. You can also transfer equipment from a type of New to a type of Rental, and from a type of Floored or Consigned to a type of New.
The program also allows you to capitalize several sales items into one piece of rental equipment in a case where you assembled a piece of equipment from your parts/sales item inventory.

Navigation
On this first screen for the Sales to Rental Transfer program, enter the equipment number or item number you want to transfer, and then press Enter to advance to the next screen.
Press F10=Recap Mode if you want to capitalize sales items into rental equipment cost. If the Require Z74 for recap field is set to Y in control record RASTR2, you must have security code Z74 set in your profile to use this function.

Fields
Enter the number of the equipment that you want to transfer into your rental inventory, or for which you want to change its type from New to Rental or from Floored or Consigned to New. If you do not know the number, press F4 to access Equipment Search.
Enter the number of the item you want to move into your rental inventory. If you do not know the number, press F4 to access Parts/Merchandise Search.
Enter or accept the stock class associated with the entered item.
Item Number Toggle (F8)
Enter the number the manufacturer has given to the item you want to transfer.
Enter the UPC number of the item you want to transfer.

Item Number Toggle. Toggle the Item number field to Manufacturer's item number or UPC number. |

Recap Mode. Switch to recapitalization mode and enter an item number to transfer from inventory into equipment cost.
If the Require Z74 for recap field is set to Y in control record RASTR2, you must have security code Z74 set in your profile to use this function. |
