Use this screen to launch the Equipment Specification Maintenance program where you can enter technical specifications for an entire category/classTwo-part classification for individualized and bulk equipment. Rental rates are entered by category/class, and the ID number for bulk items is the category/class ID. or for one piece of equipment. This information can also be entered in the Equipment Configuration Maintenance program and when equipment is purchased and received, that information carries over to the Equipment Specifications file.

On this launch screen, enter either the IDs of the category and class or the equipment number for which you want to enter technical specifications. Press F8 to toggle the screen from entering the category/class to entering the reservation item number. Press F21 (Shift + F9) if you want to copy existing specifications from one category/class or equipment to another category/class or equipment.

Enter the ID of the category for which you want to add or change specifications.
Enter the ID of the class for which you want to add or change specifications.
If applicable, enter the number of the piece of equipment for which you want to add or change specifications.
Enter the reservation number for the item for which you want to add or change specifications.
