Access this screen by pressing F17 (Shift + F5) from the System Location Maintenance - Billing 1 screen or the Rental Rates Discount Maintenance screen.  For the location, enter the number of hours, miles, or meter usage per day, week, or month for which equipment can be used before excess meter charges are applied.  This information can be entered for the three shift types: S-Single, D-Double, or T-Triple, and it can be different based on the number of days per week that the branch is operating.  Press Enter twice to save your entries.

Days per Week

Enter the number of days per week (5, 6, or 7) that this location rents equipment.  You can enter meter settings by shift for each scenario for the branch.  In other words, in the first section of the window, you can enter settings pertinent to the location operating 5 days a week.  In the second section, you can enter settings pertinent to the location operating 6 days a week, and so on.

Per Day Before Charge (Hours, Single Shift)

Enter the number of hours per day for a single shift that equipment can be out on rent before excess meter charges are applied.

Per Day Before Charge (Hours, Double Shift)

Enter the number of hours per day for a double shift that equipment can be out on rent before excess meter charges are applied.

Per Day Before Charge (Hours, Triple Shift)

Enter the number of hours per day for a triple shift that equipment can be out on rent before excess meter charges are applied.

Per Day Before Charge (Miles, Single Shift)

Enter the number of miles per day for a single shift that equipment can used before excess meter charges are applied.

Per Day Before Charge (Miles, Double Shift)

Enter the number of miles per day for a double shift that equipment can be used before excess meter charges are applied.

Per Day Before Charge (Miles, Triple Shift)

Enter the number of miles per day for a triple shift that equipment can be used before excess meter charges are applied.

Per Day Before Charge (Usage, Single Shift)

Enter the amount per day for a single shift that equipment can used (based on meter readings) before excess meter charges are applied.

Enter the amount per day for a double shift that equipment can be used (based on meter readings) before excess meter charges are applied.
