Code File - LaunchUse this screen to launch the Cycle Code File program where you create and edit cycle codeCode that dictates the days within a count cycle that an item is to be counted.s for PME cycle types. A cycle code dictates which days during an established cycle an item or piece of equipment is counted. Set the days as part of the cycle code, and then assign the cycle code to stock classes or category/classes with the corresponding PME code.
             Example:  You have parts in
a certain stock classCode used to categorize sales items for analysis and reporting. You may choose to make the stock class a subset of the vendor code. that you want to
cycle count three times during a 30-day cycle that was established in
Cycle Information.  Create a cycle code

to Cycle of 1, 15, and 29.  Assign your new cycle code to
 that stock class.

Cycle Code File - Launch
Enter the code of the cycle type for which you want to add or maintain a cycle codeCode that dictates the days within a count cycle that an item is to be counted.. Valid codes include:
P - Parts
M - Merchandise
E - Equipment
             Cycle codes are
established by cycle type and then assigned to either category/classTwo-part classification for individualized and bulk equipment. Rental rates are entered by category/class, and the ID number for bulk items is the category/class ID.es
or stock classCode used to categorize sales items for analysis and reporting. You may choose to make the stock class a subset of the vendor code.es.  A cycle code can
be used more than once; so for example, you can set up cycle code 0001
for cycle types P, M, and E.  The cycle code in combination with
the cycle type is assigned to either a category/class or a stock class.
Items in category/classes and stock classes are also assigned PME
codes, and those PME codes match with the PME cycle types associated with
the cycle codes to dictate the days those items are counted within a cycle.
