Cycle Information - Add

Description:

Use this screen to establish the start date and duration for each cycle count that you want to perform for the parts (P), merchandise (M), or equipment (E) that you have in inventory.

 

Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.

 

 

Navigation

Access this screen by pressing F6=Add from the Cycle Information main screen, and then entering the cycle type for which you want to establish a cycle.  Enter the start date and duration of the cycle and whether you want to include Saturdays and Sundays, and then press Enter to save.

Fields

Type

Displays the type of cycle count you are starting.  Valid codes include:

 

Cycle Number

Displays the number the system assigned to the cycle count.

 

Status

Displays the current status of the cycle count.  Valid codes include:

 

Days in Cycle

Enter the duration (in days) for the cycle count.

 

Start Date

Enter the date for the cycle count to start.

 

End Date

Displays the date that the cycle count was either completed or manually ended.  This displays in Detail mode only.

 

Include Saturdays and Sundays

Indicate whether Saturdays or Sundays are included in the cycle count's Days in Cycle.

 

Last Day Cycled

Displays the last day within the cycle that items were counted.  This displays in Detail mode only.

 

Last Day Closed

Displays the day within the cycle that the cycle was closed.  This displays in Detail mode only.

 

Last Maintained

Displays the date and time that the cycle was last maintained.  The user who maintained the record is also displayed.

 

Created

Displays the date and time that the cycle was created.  The user who created the record is also displayed.

F1

Help.  Place your cursor in a field and press F1 to access online help for that field.  Place your cursor outside of any field, and press F1 to access online help at the program level.

F3

Exit.  Exit the page or program.

F4

Search.  Place your cursor in a searchable field and press F4 to access a lookup window or more advanced search screen.

F12

Cancel/Previous.  Exit the program or move back a screen.
