Create/Update Rental - Overtime Information

Description:

Use this popup window to enter or update the number of hours of overtime allowed for the equipment on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.  You can also indicate when to calculate overtime.

Navigation

Access this popup window by entering 16 in the Opt (Option) field to the left of the Equipment Number field on the Create/Update Rental - Equipment Information screen.  Enter the applicable overtime information for the piece of equipment, and then press Enter to return to the Equipment Information screen.

Fields

 

Shift

Displays the shift differential code applied to the equipment.  If applicable, this code can be changed on the Equipment Detail screen.

 

Day

Displays the day associated with the overtime calculations.

 

Hours Allowed per Day

Enter the number of hours of usage allowed per day before overtime (excess meter usage) is calculated and charged.  This information can be entered for one or two meters.

 

Hours Allowed per Week

Enter the number of hours of usage allowed per week before overtime (excess meter usage) is calculated and charged.  This information can be entered for one or two meters.

 

Hours Allowed per Month

Enter the number of hours of usage allowed per month before overtime (excess meter usage) is calculated and charged.  This information can be entered for one or two meters.

 

Multiplier

Enter the amount to multiply the excess meter charges by.  This is typically changed from 1.00 when you are dealing with a double or triple shift differential on the equipment.  This information can be entered for one or two meters.

 

Calculate Overtime on Cycle Bills

Indicate whether to calculate excess meter usage when the rental contract is cycle billed.

 

Calculate Overtime on Returns

Indicate whether to calculate excess meter usage when rental equipment is returned on this contract.
