Use this screen to make a clone/copy of an existing rental contract.
Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.
Navigation
Access this screen by pressing F14=Clone Contract from the Create/Update Rental - Launch screen. Enter an existing rental contract number and sequence number, and press Enter. The Create/Update Rental - Launch screen reappears with the customer number populated from the contract you entered. You can change the customer number and clone the contract for a different customer.

Fields
Enter an existing rental contract number to clone/copy. If you do not know the number, press F4 to search for the contract.
Enter the sequence number for the rental contract you entered in the previous field. The sequence number is a system-generated number that is appended to the contract number each time the contract is transacted. For example, when a contract is first created, the sequence number is 0000. If you enter a transaction against the contract such as an equipment exchange or a cycle billing, the sequence number increments to 0001.
