Use this screen to launch one of the Inspection programs where you can inquire on, create, update, or close equipment inspections.

Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.
Navigation
Access this screen from the Equipment Maintenance menu. If your system requires it, enter your user name and password; and then enter either the inspection number to update or close; or the equipment number or serial number for a new inspection. Enter an inspection typeInspection performed on equipment such as electrical inspection or hydraulic inspection. The inspection type contains all the steps to perform that inspection. code, and then press Enter to advance to the next screen to maintain the inspection header.

Fields
If you are updating, closing, or inquiring on an existing inspection record, enter the number to access the record. If you do not know the number, press F4 to search for it.
Enter the number of the piece of equipment for the inspection. If you do not know the number, press F4 to search for it.
If you do not know the equipment number or choose not to enter it, you can enter the equipment's serial number for the inspection, and the system pulls in the equipment information.
Enter the code for type of inspection being performed on the equipment. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it. Inspection type codes are set up in Inspection Type Maintenance.
