Use this screen to launch the Sales Item Cross Reference Maintenance program where you can add cross reference itemSales item that is the same as another sales item, but is ordered from a different vendor.s and substitute itemSales item that can be substituted for another item when that item is out of stock.s for a sales item.
When entering a sales item that has one or more substitute items associated with it on a sales order, purchase order, or work order, the system either automatically replaces the item with its substitute, or it prompts you with a list of substitutes from which to choose, based on your setting in control record PRCSUB.

On this launch screen, enter the number of the item for which you want to enter cross reference and substitute items. If you do not know the number, press F4 to search for it.
Use F10 to switch the program to INQUIRY mode. To return to maintenance mode, press F11.
