Options Pricing MaintenanceUse this screen to add a new equipment option pricing record or to change an existing record. Option pricing consists of the list price, discounts, and net cost of the equipment option for a specific category/classTwo-part classification for individualized and bulk equipment. Rental rates are entered by category/class, and the ID number for bulk items is the category/class ID..
Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.
Access this screen in CHANGE mode by entering Option 2 for an option pricing record on the Fleet Options Pricing Search screen. Access it in ADD mode by pressing F6 from that same screen. Enter or change the list price and discounts for an equipment option for a specific category/class.
To deactivate an option pricing record, press F23 (Shift + F11) twice.
Fleet Options Pricing Maintenance
Displays the current status of the option pricing. Use F23 to deactivate the record.
Enter the IDs and descriptions of the category, class, and sub-class for which the option pricing is being entered.
Enter the code for the equipment option for which you want to establish pricing. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it. These options are set up in Fleet Options Description Maintenance.
Enter the number of the vendor from whom you order the equipment.

Enter the manufacturer's make for which you are entering an option pricing record.
Enter the manufacturer's model for which you are entering an option pricing record.
Enter the year of the model for which you are entering an option pricing record.
Indicate whether the equipment option is standard for the category/class.
Enter or accept the currency in which this equipment option is ordered from the listed vendor.
Enter the manufacturer's suggested list price for this equipment option.
Enter up to three discount percentages to apply to the equipment option.
Press Enter after entering all discounts, and the system calculates this amount and populates the field. You can also enter a net cost or override the calculation; however, it is recommended that you not change this field.
Displays the calculated total discount applied to the equipment option's list price.
