Access this program from the Rental File Maintenance menu in Operations. On the first screen, determine at what level you want to enter rental rate discounts and complete the appropriate fields. If you are entering this screen from Customer Master Maintenance, the location and customer number are filled in. You can clear the customer number if you want to set rental rate discounts for all customers in the specified location.
To enter rental rate discounts for an entire category/class, regardless of location and customer, leave the location, customer, and job fields blank.
To set rental
rate discounts for a contract price number, press F8=Toggle.
You must enter at least a category/class in order to continue to the next screen where you set the rate discounts.

Enter the location for which you want to set up equipment rental rate discounts. You can leave this field blank to set up the discounts for all locations.
Enter the number of the customer for which you want to set up equipment rental rate discounts. If you are entering this program from Customer Master Maintenance, the location and customer number are filled in. You can clear the customer number or leave it blank if you want to set rental rate discounts for all customers in the specified location.
Enter the number of the customer job for which you want to set up equipment rental rate discounts. Leave this field blank if you want to set up the discounts for all of the customer's jobs.
Enter the ID of the equipment category for which you want to set up rental rate discounts.
Enter the ID of the equipment class for which you want to set up rental rate discounts.
Enter the number of the contract price for which you want to set up equipment rental rate discounts. Contract price numbers are created in Contract Price Maintenance.
Enter the item number for which you want to set up rental rate discounts instead of entering the equipment category/class.
