Charge Control MaintenanceUse this program to enter the environmental charge control record for a specific location.
First
use this program to enter the miscellaneous charge item to use for environmental
charges on your rental contracts, and then use the Equipment
Environmental Charge Maintenance program to enter the environmental
charge amounts to use by category/class.

Access this screen by entering a location on the Environmental Charge Control Maintenance - Launch screen. Enter the miscellaneous item number that you want to default as the environmental charge on rental contracts. You can also enter the minimum and maximum charge amounts and the status for the control record.

Environmental Charge Control Maintenance
Displays the location for which you are setting up the environmental charge control record.
Enter the miscellaneous charge item to use as the default environmental charge item on rental contracts for the specified location. This item must be set up as a valid miscellaneous charge item using Miscellaneous Charge Item Maintenance, and it must have a miscellaneous charge type of EC for environment charge.
Enter or accept the stock classCode used to categorize sales items for analysis and reporting. You may choose to make the stock class a subset of the vendor code. associated with the miscellaneous charge item entered.
Optionally, enter the minimum amount that can be charged for this environmental charge item.
Optionally, enter the maximum amount that can be charged for this environmental charge item.
Enter or accept the number that represents the sequence in which the environment charge will print on the rental contract/invoice. The default is 9500, which causes the charge to appear at the very end of the items listed on the contract.
Enter the current status of the environmental charge control. Enter D to deactivate the charge item so that it no longer defaults on rental contracts for the specified location.
