Use this screen to launch the Reason Code Maintenance program where you set up and maintain miscellaneous codes that are used throughout the system for various purposes. These purposes include but are not limited to:
To express reasons for entering certain transactions like equipment exchanges or inventory adjustments, or for making system overrides for items like rental rates or taxes
To classify types of entities such as analysis codes, G/L journals, and customers
To represent functions like cycle billing, depreciation, and payment methods
To provide abbreviations for things such as units of measure and business entities
There
are over 100 miscellaneous codes that can be set up in the system. Please
