File Maintenance Language
File MaintenanceUse this program to add and maintain language codes to be used throughout the system. For example, entering a language code on a user profile tells the system in what language to display program names, fields and messages to the user.

Access this screen by entering a new or existing language code on the Language File Maintenance - Launch screen. Enter a description of the language code, and then enter the name of the data library that contains the translations and other aspects of the language.

Language File Maintenance
Displays the language code you are adding or maintaining.
Enter a brief description of the language such as, English, UK.
Enter the name of the data library that contains the language's translations. When this language code is added to a user's security profile via the Employee Security File Maintenance program, this library is automatically added to their library list.
