Description:

Use this screen to launch the Language File Maintenance program where you add and maintain language codes to be used throughout the system. For example, entering a language code on a user profile tells the system in what language to display program names, fields and messages to the user.

Access this screen from the International menu in the System File Maintenance application. Enter the language code you want to maintain. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it. To add a new code, press F6 to switch to ADD mode.

Fields

Language Code

Enter the code that represents the language you want to maintain. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it. Press F6 to add a new code.

Function Keys

Function Key	Description
F1	Help. Place your cursor in a field and press F1 to access online help for that field. Place your cursor outside of any field, and press F1 to access online help at the program level.
F3	Exit. Exit the page or program.
F4	Search. Place your cursor in a searchable field and press F4 to access a lookup window or more advanced search screen.
F6	Add. Switch the program to ADD mode. Enter a new Language Code, and then press Enter to advance to the next screen.
F10	Inquiry. Switch the program to INQUIRY mode.
F11	Change. Switch the program back to CHANGE mode.
