Items MaintenanceUse this screen to enter the sales items or the category/classTwo-part classification for individualized and bulk equipment. Rental rates are entered by category/class, and the ID number for bulk items is the category/class ID.es that you want to add as suggested items for rental equipment. Suggested items that are linked to a category/class are listed on the Create Rental - Equipment Information screen when equipment from that category/class is entered on the rental contract. You can add a suggested item to the rental contract by entering a quantity for it when it is suggested.

Access this screen by entering a category/class or reservation item number on the Suggested Items Maintenance - Launch screen and pressing Enter.
Enter category/classes or sales items as suggested items for the category/class you entered on the launch screen. Indicate if the suggested item is required for rental items in the category/class, and enter the sequence in which the suggested item appears on screens.

Displays the ID of the category for which you want to add or change suggested items.
Displays the ID of the class for which you want to add or change suggested items.
Displays the reservation number for the item for which you want to add or change suggested items.

If applicable, enter the ID of the category that you want to add as a suggested item.
If applicable, enter the ID of the class that you want to add as a suggested item.
Displays the reservation item number for the category/class you entered.
Enter the number of the sales item you want to add as a suggested item.
Displays the stock class to which the entered sales item belongs.
Indicate whether the suggested item is required for the rental category/class. If the item is required, it is automatically added to the transaction where the category/class is used.
If applicable, enter the default quantity for the suggested item. This quantity displays in the transaction, but you can change it.
Enter or accept the sequence number for the suggested item. The sequence number determines the order in which the suggested item is listed in the transaction.
