Options by Category/Class Fleet
Options by Category/ClassUse this screen to enter equipment options for a specific category/classTwo-part classification for individualized and bulk equipment. Rental rates are entered by category/class, and the ID number for bulk items is the category/class ID.. After adding equipment options in this program, they are listed in the search results for Option 4 in the Equipment Configuration Maintenance program.

Access this screen by entering category and class IDs on the Fleet Options by Category/Class - Launch screen and pressing Enter. Add equipment options to the category/class to be used in the Equipment Configuration Maintenance program. Equipment options are created in the Fleet Options Description Maintenance program. If you need to add options in between existing options for the category/class, change the sequence number of the new option to a number in between the two options where you want to place it, and then press F5 to re-sequence all of the options.
Press F6 to access the Fleet Options Description Maintenance program and add new options as necessary.

Fleet Options Description Maintenance
Displays the ID of the category for which you are entering equipment options.
Displays the ID of the class for which you are entering equipment options.
Enter or accept the sequence number for a new or existing equipment option. If you change the default sequence numbers, press F5 after your entries to re-sequence all options.
Enter the code of the equipment option you want to add to the category/class. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it. Equipment options are set up in the Fleet Options Description Maintenance program.
Displays the description of the equipment option.
Enter the code that represents the type of equipment option for this category/class. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it.
