Use this screen in CHANGE mode to enter physical inventory counts that have been recorded on system-generated count sheets. Use the screen in ADD mode (press F6) to enter physical inventory counts for items that are not on the printed count sheets.

Access this screen by entering a valid Document number on the Count Entry - Launch screen. Enter the physical count for each item. If an item has no quantity on hand, you must enter a zero (0) in the Qty Counted column to ensure that the system updates that item. If you do not enter a zero, the item is skipped during updating. Press F11 to display item serial numbers to match against your counts, and to enter item counts in different units of measure. Enter bin locations only if you are updating them during this inventory.
If you want to enter counts for items that are not on the printed count sheets, press F6 to add a new count sheet document and enter those counts.
Physical Inventory Count Entry
Enter the number of the count sheet for which you want to enter physical counts. If you are in ADD mode, the system assigns a document number.
Enter the physical count for the item. If an item has no quantity on hand, you must enter a zero (0) in this field to ensure that the system updates that item. If you do not enter a zero, the item is skipped during updating.
If the physical count consists of different units of measure, press F11 to reveal the item's associated units of measure. Enter the counts as appropriate (for example, 1 box and 5 eaches), and when you press Enter, the system calculates the total count in the item's stocking unit of measure and displays that amount in this Quantity Counted field.
