Use this program to set up system user profiles with their user names, passwords, assigned locations, default languages, and so on.
The
company displayed in the upper right corner of the screen is the company
in which the user profile will be set up. If the user is authorized
to login to multiple companies, a user profile must be set up in each
company where that user is authorized.

Access this screen by entering an existing or a new user profile ID on the Employee Security File Maintenance - Launch screen. Make changes to an existing record, including resetting the user's password, or enter information for a new user profile. Use F23 to delete a user profile record.

Employee Security File Maintenance
Displays the ID of the user for whom you are setting up a security profile record.
This field is no longer used. Use Option 88 - Password Reset from the RentalMan Main Menu to reset user passwords.
Enter the user's full name.
Enter or accept the location to which this user is assigned and authorized. If the Corporate Access field is marked as Y, the user is able to change the location he/she is working in by changing the location code in the upper right corner of his/her screen.
This field is no longer used.
Indicate whether this user is a manager.
Enter the format in which this user enters and view dates. Valid options are:
MDY (Month, Day, Year)
DMY (Day, Month, Year)
YMD (Year, Month, Day)
Enter the format in which this user enters and views numbers. Valid options are:
1 or blank - The period is used as a decimal point, and the comma is used for three-digit grouping. Zero suppress to the left of the decimal point (for example: 1,234.56 and .56).
2 - The period is used for three-digit grouping, and the comma is used as a decimal point. The zero-suppression character is in the second position to the left of the decimal point (for example: 1.234,56 and 0,56).
3 - The period is used for three-digit grouping, and the comma is used as a decimal point. Zero suppress to the left of the decimal point (for example: 1.234,56 and ,14).
Enter A to give the user authorization for the Command line at menus. Enter L if the user does not have authorization for the Command line. If the user has authorization to the F21 function key, he/she can get a Command line at the menus.
Enter the code for the language in which this user enters information and views program names and field labels. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it.
When the default language code is entered or changed here, the data library associated with the new language code is automatically added to the user's library list. Language codes are set up in the System Language File Maintenance program.
Enter the user's phone number including the area code.
Enter the form ID to default into every workstation record that is set up for this user. This ID is related to where forms print when this user requests them. The default is 6.

Indicate whether this user should have access to change his/her company and location in the fields in the upper right corner of the screen.
If you want the system to automatically create a workstation override record for this user, enter the name of the menu you want the user to come into when he/she signs onto the system. For example, enter WSMAIN if the user should come into the RentalMan main menu when he/she has signed on.
If applicable, enter the name of the security group profile to which this user belongs. Group profiles are set up in the Security Program Access File Maintenance program, and they contain the system authorizations for one person or a group of people. The available group profiles are listed at the bottom of the screen. With your cursor in that section of the screen, press Page Down to review all profile names.
Indicate whether to add this user to the system Message file so that he/she can send messages via F10.
Indicate whether to create an IBM profile record for this user when this RentalMan security profile record is saved.
Enter the user's full email address.
If applicable, enter another phone number or an international phone number for this user. Press F4 in the first two characters of the field to select the code for the type of phone number being entered.
