Escalation MaintenanceUse this program to set escalation levels for different GPS equipment alert types such as Approaching Overtime and Service Overdue. View and respond to equipment alerts in the Alert Listing program.

program is only accessible when Qualcomm
tracking enabled is set to Y
in control record QUALCM,
and Enable Equipment Tracking
is set to Y in control
record TRACK1.

Access this screen by entering a valid alert type code on the Alert Escalation Maintenance - Launch screen. Enter up to three levels of escalation notifications for the alert type, and then press Enter to save.

Alert Escalation Maintenance
Displays the code for the type of alert for which you are setting up escalation notifications. Alert types are events related to GPS-tracked equipment that might require action on your part such as Service Overdue and Used off Rent.
Enter the code to indicate the current status of this alert type. Valid codes are:
A - Active
I - Inactive
P - Notify only
Enter the code that indicates the type of notification to send for level 1 escalation. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it.
Enter the name of the user to whom the notification should go.
Enter the time in hours and minutes until the first notification goes out for the alert type. Enter the time without the colon (:).
Enter the code that indicates the type of notification to send for level 2 escalation. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it.
Enter the name of the user to whom the notification should go.
Enter the time in hours and minutes until the second notification goes out for the alert type. Enter the time without the colon (:).
Enter the code that indicates the type of notification to send for level 3 escalation. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it.
Enter the name of the user to whom the notification should go.
Enter the time in hours and minutes until the third notification goes out for the alert type. Enter the time without the colon (:).
Indicate whether the system should automatically acknowledge each notification.
