Labor Rates Maintenance - Locations

Description:

Use this screen to review the category/class labor rates by location.  You can change, delete, or create the location rates using the available options.

 

Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.

 

 

Navigation

Access this screen by pressing F15 (Shift + F3) from the Labor Rates Maintenance screen.  Use the options at the top of the screen to add the category/class labor rates to one or more locations.  Once you have used Option 1 to add the labor rates to a location, you can use Option 2 for that same location to make changes to the rates, if applicable.  Option 3 allows you to delete a location labor rates record.

Options

Option

Description

1

Create.  Enter 1 in the Option field to add the category/class labor rates to the locations.  Press Enter twice to confirm the addition.

Edit.  Enter 2 in the Option field to advance to the Labor Rates Maintenance screen in CHANGE mode.  This option only applies to locations to which you have added labor rates using Option 1.

Delete.  Enter 4 in the Option field to delete the labor rates record for a location.  This option only applies to locations to which you have added labor rates using Option 1.

 

Fields

Contract Number

If applicable, this field displays the number of the labor contract for which you are setting up labor rates.  Labor contracts are set up in Labor Contract Maintenance.  If this field does not display, you are setting up labor rates for one or all customers.

 

Customer

If applicable, this field displays the number and name of the customer for whom you are setting up labor rates.  If this field is blank, you are setting up labor rates for all customers.  If this field is not displayed, you are setting up labor rates for a labor contract number.

 

Job Number

If applicable, this field displays the number of the customer job for which you are setting up labor rates.  If this field is blank, you are setting up labor rates for all of the customer's jobs.  If this field is not displayed, you are setting up labor rates for a labor contract number.

 

Category/Class

Displays the ID and description of the equipment category/class for which you are setting up labor rates.

 

Start Date

If applicable, this field displays the starting effectivity date for the labor contract.

 

End Date

If applicable, this field displays the ending effectivity date for the labor contract.

 

Location

Displays the location code.

 

Name

Displays the location's name.
