Item Specifications MaintenanceUse this screen to enter or change the technical specifications for a sales item.
Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.
Access this screen by entering either a sales item number on the Sales Item Specifications Maintenance - Launch screen and pressing Enter. Type the sales item specifications on each numbered line. If you need to insert new specifications between existing specifications, change the line number on a blank line to a number that falls between the two existing specification numbers; type the new specifications and press Enter. The program correctly inserts your new specification. Press F5 to renumber all lines to their original increments of 10.

Sales Item Specifications Maintenance
Displays the item number for which you are setting up specifications.
Displays the stock class for the entered item.
Enter the text for each specification.
The sequence number for the specification line. Change this number if you need to insert a new specification between two existing specifications.
For instance, if you have specifications for sequences 10 and 20 and you decide that you need a new specification after sequence 10 but before sequence 20, you can change the default sequence of 30 (with no specifications associated with it) to sequence 15 and type a specification on that line. When you press Enter, the program inserts your new specification in the appropriate order.
