Message Maintenance - LaunchUse this screen to launch the Equipment Message Maintenance program where you can enter messages by category/classTwo-part classification for individualized and bulk equipment. Rental rates are entered by category/class, and the ID number for bulk items is the category/class ID. to print on rental contracts
Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.
On this first screen, enter a category/class ID for which you want to enter or maintain messages. Press F8 to toggle the screen to enter an item reservation number instead of the category/class ID. If you do not know the category/class ID, you can press F4 to search for it. You can also press the PgDn key to scroll through the category/class master file.
If you know the number of the message you want to maintain, press F6, and then enter the message number to advance to the maintenance screen.
Use F10 to switch the program to INQUIRY mode. To return to message maintenance mode, press F11.

Enter the ID of the category for which you want to enter messages. If you do not know the ID, press F4 to search for it.
Enter the ID of the class for which you want to enter messages.
Enter the item reservation number for which you want to enter messages.

Message Maintenance. Advance to Message Master Maintenance to enter a message number that you want to add or maintain. |

Item Number/Category-Class. Toggle the screen between entering a category/class ID or an item reservation number. |

Inquiry. Switch the program to INQUIRY mode. |

F11 |
Maintenance. Switch the program back to CHANGE mode. |

Cancel/Previous. Exit the program or move back a screen. |
