Use this program to enter minimum stock levels for equipment category/classes in specific locations. The program allows you to maintain the minimum stock level for multiple category/class location records at one time on one screen, rather than going into each record separately in Category/Class Location Maintenance. Changes made in this program are written to the category/class location file (EQPCCLFL).

Access this program from the Physical Inventory menu in the Purchasing application. Use the category, class, and location filters to find the record you want to maintain. Use the date range filters to view availability of a category/class in a location for that time frame. Enter or maintain minimum stock levels for category/classes in specific locations, and then press Enter to save your entries.
Enter the starting date for the time frame you want to review.
Enter the ending date for the time frame you want to review.
Displays the category of the equipment.
Displays the class of the equipment.
Displays the location of the category/class of equipment.
Displays the description of the category/class of equipment.
Enter or change the minimum stock level for the category/class in that location.
Displays the amount available for the category/class in that location for the specified date range.
Displays the amount that the category/class is short in that location. This amount is calculated by subtracting the available amount from the minimum stock level.
