Exchange Rate Maintenance Currency
Exchange Rate MaintenanceUse this screen to review exchange rates that have been set up between the currencies. Once an exchange rate has gone into effect, it can no longer be edited. New exchange rates are set up on the Add Currency Exchange Rate screen.
Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.
Access this screen by entering a currency code on the Currency Exchange Rate Maintenance - Launch screen. Review the list of exchange rates. If an exchange rate has not gone into effect, you can use option 2 to edit it. If you want to add a new exchange rate, press F6.

Edit. Enter 2 in the Option field to advance to the screen to edit the exchange rate. Once an exchange rate has gone into effect, you cannot edit it. |
Displays the base currencyCurrency in which the company operates. Exchange rates are set up between this currency and other currencies for your customers and vendors. of the company you are logged into.
Displays the code for the currency for which you are setting up exchange rates.
Displays the date on which the exchange rate went into effect.
Displays the time at which the exchange rate went into effect.
Displays the rate of exchange between the two currencies. This is the amount by which the other currency is multiplied to arrive at the base currency value, and it is entered in the Convert into Base field on the Add Currency Exchange Rate screen.
Displays the value of the other currency relative to the value of the base currency. This amount is entered into the Convert from Base field on the Add Currency Exchange Rate screen.
Displays the user name for the person who entered the exchange rate information.
