Description:

Use this program to enter the details of the loan for which you want to obtain an amortization schedule.

Navigation

Access this program from the Additional G/L Options menu or by pressing F6 from the Note Entry program.  Enter the details of the loan, (be sure to press Tab after entering information in the last field) and then press Enter to obtain the payment amount and total interest.  Press F9 to obtain the full amortization schedule and to print it.

Fields

Loan Amount

Enter the amount of the loan for which you want to obtain an amortization schedule.

 

Interest Rate

Enter the interest rate of the loan.

 

Number of Payments

Enter the total number of payments for the loan.

 

Payment Start Date

Enter the date that the loan payments start, and press Tab.

 

Payment

Displays the amount of each loan payment based on the details provided.

 

Total Interest

Displays the total amount of interest paid throughout the life of the loan.

 

Function Keys

Function Key	Description
F1	Help.  Place your cursor in a field and press F1 to access online help for that field.  Place your cursor outside of any field, and press F1 to access online help at the program level.
F3	Exit.  Exit the page or program.
F9	Print.  Display the schedule and print it.
