Description:
Use this popup window to enter identifying information for the equipment you entered on the work order that is not in your equipment master file. The popup window appears after you press Enter through two warning messages.

Access this popup window by entering an equipment number on the Open Work Order - Launch screen that does not exist in your customer master file, and then pressing Enter through two warning messages. Enter identifying information for the equipment, and then indicate whether you want to add the record to your equipment master file.

Fields
Enter the IDs for the category, class, and sub-class (if applicable) in which the equipment should be classified. If you do not know the IDs, press F4 in the applicable field to search for each one.
Displays the equipment number you entered on the Launch screen.
If applicable, enter the equipment's serial number.
Enter a brief description of the equipment.
Enter the manufacturer of the equipment.
Enter the manufacturer's model name or number for the equipment.
Enter the year the equipment was manufactured.
Indicate whether you want to add the equipment record to the equipment master file.
