Prepayment Receipt - Launch

Description:
Use this screen to launch the Credit Pre-payment Receipt program where you credit a customer's pre-payment for a proforma invoiceDraft or suspense invoice that looks like an actual invoice, but the customer is not billed and accounts receivable is not affected.. Use this program if the goods or services on the proforma invoice were not delivered, and you need to refund the customer's advance payment.

Navigation
On this launch screen, enter the number of the pre-payment receipt you want to credit, and provide a credit reason. Press Enter to proceed with the credit. The program advances to the Credit Memo - Customer Information screen. If necessary, make modifications to the information, and then press Enter to advance to the Item Information screen. Enter the quantity to credit for each item (as a negative number), and press Enter to advance to the Credit Pre-payment Receipt - Review screen to finalize the credit.

Fields
Enter the number of the pre-payment receipt you want to credit.
Enter the code that represents the reason for the credit. If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it.
Enter or accept the date and time of the credit.
