Description:
Use this program to enter old item numbers that you want to convert to new item numbers. When all users are off the system, use the Run Item Number Conversion program to make the number changes in the item master file.

Navigation
Access this program from the Conversion menu. If your system is set to require user names and passwords for certain programs, enter that information before coming to the main screen. Then enter the old RentalMan item numbers and stock classes that you want to convert to new item numbers and stock class. Use option 6 to select the locations in which the item number conversion should occur. When all users are off the system, use the Run Item Number Conversion program to make the number changes in the item master file.

Search. Enter 1 in the Option field to access the Parts/Merchandise Search program. |

Locations. Enter 6 in the Option field to access the Item Location Selection screen. |
Fields
Old Item Number
Enter the number of the item you want to convert.
Old Stock Class
If necessary, enter the stock class the item number is in. This is necessary if you have the same item number in more than one stock class.
New Item Number
Enter the new number for the item you are converting.
New Stock Class
If necessary, enter the new stock class for the item you are converting.
