Zip Code/Territory Default Maintenance - Launch

Program/Screen: CXZIPM/CXZIPM10

Description:

Use this screen to launch the Zip Code/Territory Default Maintenance program where you create and maintain territory and sales representative defaults for ranges of zip codes within a state.  When a zip code is entered on a customer jobRecord that represents a particular work site for a customer. record, the territory and sales representative set up for the range of zip codes in which that zip code falls are defaulted into the job record.

 

If control record CXZIPM is set to N, the Territory field is not mandatory in this record, but the Sales Representative field is.

Navigation

Access this program from the Cross Application Maintenance menu.  Enter the two-character code for the state for which you want to enter or maintain territory defaults by zip code range.  If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it, or press the Page Up and Page Down keys to roll through the master file.  To enter a new state record, press F6 first, and then enter the code.

Enter the two-character code for the state for which you want to enter or maintain territory defaults by zip code range.  If you do not know the code, press F4 to search for it.  To enter a new state record, press F6 first, and then enter the code.

Help.  Place your cursor in a field and press F1 to access online help for that field.  Place your cursor outside of any field, and press F1 to access online help at the program level.

Exit.  Exit the page or program.

F4

Search.  Place your cursor in a searchable field and press F4 to access a lookup window or more advanced search screen.

F6

Add Mode.  Switch the program to ADD mode to create a new state record of zip code/territory associations.

F10

Inquiry Mode.  Switch the program to INQUIRY mode.

F11

Change Mode.  Switch the program back to CHANGE mode.

F12

Cancel/Previous.  Exit the program or move back a screen.

F24 (Shift + F12)
