Customer Job Selection

Program/Screen: CXCJBM/CXCJBMC1

Description:

Use this screen to select a job to work with or to associate a job to a customer's rental contract.  The job location can be used as the determining factor for lien rights and tax percentages on the rental contract, so it is important to select the correct job for the contract.

Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.

Navigation

When creating a rental contract for a charge customer who requires a job number for all transactions, you are taken to this screen automatically to select a job for the contract.  If no jobs exist, you must create one using F6=Add before proceeding with the rental contract.  From Customer Master Maintenance, you can press F7=Jobs to access this screen and select a job to change or review.  This screen is also used as the launch screen for Customer Job Maintenance.

Use the date range filter and one or more filters above all of the columns on this screen to narrow the list of jobs.  For example, you could use the filters to look for jobs open in the last quarter where Joe Sullivan is the contact.
