Item Kit Maintenance Sales
Item Kit MaintenanceUse this program to add components to a sales kit. A sales kit is a collection of other sales items that are always sold together. A kit can be entered as one item on a sales order/invoice.
First, mark a sales item as Inventoried=N in Sales Item Maintenance to indicate that it can be a kit, and then open this program to enter the components of the kit.

Access this screen by entering a sales item number on the Sales Item Kit Maintenance - Launch screen and pressing Enter. Enter the sales items that are components in this sales item kit. Indicate the sequence in which the component items are listed on printed orders/invoices. Also enter the quantity of the component in the kit, and the percentage of the total kit price that the component item represents.

Search. Enter 1 in the Option field to access Parts/Merchandise Search and search for a sales item to add to the kit. |
Displays the item number for which you want to set up a kit.
Displays the stock class for the sales item.
Enter a number to designate the sequence in which the component item prints on sales orders/invoices.
Enter the number for the item that is a component of this sales item kit. If you do not know the number, enter 1 in the Opt (Option) field to access Parts/Merchandise Search and search for it.
Enter or accept the stock class associated with the entered item number.
Enter the quantity of the component in the sales item kit.
Enter the percentage of sales revenue from the kit that will go toward this item. The total of all percentages must equal 100%. You can enter 0 for one or more components, but the total percentages entered must always equal 100%.
Displays the description of the sales item component.
