Use this screen to review the details of a specific alert record for a GPS-tracked piece of equipment. Alerts are set up in Alert Escalation Maintenance.

Access this screen by entering a 5 in the Option field for a specific alert record on the Alert Listing screen. You can ping the GPS tracking device from this screen as well as acknowledge the alert by pressing F8-Reply.
Alert Detail
Displays the number assigned to the alert.
Displays a code that indicates the type of alert for the record.
Displays the ID of the terminal that sent the alert.
Displays the latitudinal reading for the location of the equipment at the time of the alert.
Displays the longitudinal reading for the location of the equipment at the time of the alert.
Displays the date of the alert.
Displays the time of the alert.
Displays the GPS system date of the alert.
Displays the GPS system time of the alert.
Displays an indicator of whether the alert was acknowledged.
Displays the unique number assigned to the piece of equipment.
Displays the ID of the category/classTwo-part classification for individualized and bulk equipment. Rental rates are entered by category/class, and the ID number for bulk items is the category/class ID. to which the equipment belongs.
Displays the current status of the equipment. Valid codes include:
A - Available
D - Down - Long Term
N - Down - Short Term
R - down - Wash Rack
I - In Transit
J - Junked
M - Missing
O - On Rent
P - On Rental Purchase
K - On Truck
U - Pick-up
V - Returned to Vendor
S - Sold
T - Stolen
Displays the code and description for the type of equipment being tracked. Valid codes include:
C - Customer Owned
F - Floored
G - Consignment
L - Lease
N - New
O - Non-rental Asset
R - Rental
S - Sub-leased
T - Trade In
Displays the manufacturer's make for the equipment.
Displays the manufacturer's model for the equipment
Displays the year of the model for the equipment.
Displays the unique serial number assigned to this piece of equipment.
Displays the date that you acquired this piece of equipment.
Displays the date used for determining depreciation and tax liability based on capitalization.
Displays the date that the equipment was last serviced.
Displays the current meter reading for this equipment based on its Miles/Hours/Usage code.
Last maintained Miles/Hours/Usage
Displays the meter reading for the equipment the last time it was serviced.
Displays the current meter #2 reading for this equipment based on its Miles/Hours/Usage code 2.
Displays a user-defined comment to use for search purposes. You can search for equipment by the contents of this field. This enables you to group equipment together that might not otherwise be grouped by the system.
Displays the date of the last transaction for this piece of equipment.
If applicable, this field displays the number of the customer associated with the last transaction.
If applicable, this field displays the driver's license number for the cash customer associated with the last transaction.
Displays the name of the cash customer associated with the last transaction.
