Description

Enter up to 40 alphanumeric characters for the text to print as a header line on the report; for example, Income Statement.

You can use header-level keywords in the description that print specific information in the header when the report prints.  Available header keywords are:

Space After

Enter the number of lines to advance after printing this sequence.  Valid entries are 0, 1, 2, or 3.  To advance more than 3 lines, enter a blank header record with the appropriate number of lines.  If you want consecutive sequences to print on the same line on the report, leave this field blank or enter 0 until you get to the last sequence for that report line.

The program allows a maximum of 5 header lines per report.

Starting Print Position

Enter a number to represent where this sequence should start to print on the report.  Reports are 132 column - 14 7/8" wide by default, but you can change the setting to 198 to print in landscape in control record IG120T.  To center a header, start at position 66 or 99 (132 or 198 columns divided by 2) and subtract one position for every 2 characters (including spaces) in the header text.

Example:  If you want to center the header Income Statement for a 132-column report, enter a starting position of 58.  This is calculated by starting at the center position of 66 and subtracting 8 positions/spaces because there are 16 characters in Income Statement.
