Program/Screen: SAIMSM/SAIMSMC1

Description:

Use this screen to add, maintain, and re-sequence sales item messages.

Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.

Navigation

Access this screen by entering a sales item number on the Sales Item Message Maintenance - Launch screen.  Enter message numbers to add to the sales item.  If you do not know the message number, press F4 to search for it.  Press F6 to enter the number of a message to maintain or add.

If necessary, press F5 to re-sequence the messages.  This is usually necessary when you have changed the default sequence numbers so that you can insert a new message between existing sequences.  For instance, if message numbers exist for sequences 10 and 20, and you decide that you need a message to print after sequence 10 but before sequence 20, you can change the default sequence of 30 (with no message number associated with it) to sequence 15 and associate a message number with it.  Press F5, and the program re-sequences and displays sequences 10, 15, and 20 in that order.
