Description:

Use this program to review a list of transactions for a sales item.  You can also reprint rental contracts and invoices from this program.

 

Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.

 

 

Navigation

Access this screen by pressing F6=Sales Hist from the Sales Item Maintenance program.  Enter the item number, stock class, and date range for which you want to review transaction history.  You can also use the filters above the Currency, Unit of Measure, Type, Location, and Customer Name/Number columns to focus the list on only those transactions you want to review.

 

Options

Option

Description

1

Display.  Enter 1 in the O (Option) field to advance to the Display Contract Customer Information screen.

Reprint.  Enter 6 in the O (Option) field to reprint the contract or invoice associated with that record.

 

Fields

Item number

Enter or accept the item number for which you want to review transaction history.

 

Stock class

Enter or accept  the stock classCode used to categorize sales items for analysis and reporting. You may choose to make the stock class a subset of the vendor code. associated with the item number.

 

From/To

Enter the date range for which you want to review transaction history for the sales item.

 

Description

Displays a brief description of the item.

 

Supplier number

Displays the item number assigned to this item by the vendor.

 

Transfers

Indicate how you want to treat records of transfers for this list of historical transactions.  Valid codes are:

Date

Displays the date of the transaction

 

Invoice Number

Displays the number assigned to the transaction.  This can be a rental contract number, an invoice number, a work order number, a transfer number, and so on.

 

Quantity

Displays the quantity of the sales item that was transacted.

 

Price

Displays the price of the sales item for that transaction.

 

Currency

Displays the code of the currency used in that transaction.

 

Unit of Measure

Displays the unit of measure used for the sales item in that transaction.

 

Type

Displays the transaction type.  Types include, but are not limited to:

 

Location

Displays the code of the location where the item was transacted.

 

Customer Name/Number

Displays the name or number of the customer associated with the transaction.  If the transaction was a transfer, this column displays the location that shipped it and the location that received it on two separate lines.

F1

Help.  Place your cursor in a field and press F1 to access online help for that field.  Place your cursor outside of any field, and press F1 to access online help at the program level.

F3

Exit.  Exit the page or program.

F4

Search.  Place your cursor in a searchable field and press F4 to access a lookup window or more advanced search screen.

F6

Item Quantity History.  For future use.

F8

Item Number Toggle.  Toggle the screen among the sales item number, the manufacturer's number, and the UPC code.

F9

Previous Record.  Move back to the previous item record in the master file.

F10

Next Record.  Move forward to the next item record in the master file.

F11

Drop/Fold 2nd Line.  Display a second line of detail for each record in the list.

F12

Cancel/Previous.  Exit the program or move back a screen.

F17 (Shift + F5)

Top of List.  Return directly to the top of the list.

F18 (Shift + F6)

Bottom of List.  Advance directly to the bottom of the list.

F24 (Shift + F12)

More.  Display more available function keys for the program.
