Access this screen by entering a category/class on the Rental Purchase Scale Maintenance - Launch screen. Create up to 99 tiers of the maximum number of months a rental purchase option can be extended based on the equipment's sale price. Also indicate whether monthly payments for the rental purchase should be compared with the equipment's book rental rates to ensure that they are never less than the book rate.
The monthly payments
for the rental purchase option are entered or calculated on the Rental
Purchase - Equipment Detail screen.

Rental Purchase Scale Maintenance
Displays the company for which you are setting up or maintaining rental purchase extension tiers.
Displays the ID of the equipment category for which you are setting up or maintaining rental purchase extension tiers.
Displays the ID of the equipment class for which you are setting up or maintaining rental purchase extension tiers.
Displays the sequence or tier for each record created for the category/class. You can enter up to 99 tiers/sequences. Each sequence represents the maximum sale amount for the equipment with the maximum number of months to extend the rental purchase option based on that price, and the indication of whether to compare the monthly payment amount with the equipment's book rental rates.
The monthly
payments for the rental purchase option are entered or calculated on the
Rental Purchase - Equipment Detail screen.
Enter the maximum sale amount of the equipment in the category/class for this sequence/tier.
Enter the maximum number of months the rental purchase option can be extended based on the entered maximum sale price in this sequence.
Indicate whether monthly payments for the rental purchase should be compared with the equipment's book rental rates to ensure that they are never less than the book rate.
