Use this screen to add components to a rental kit. A rental kit is a collection of category/classTwo-part classification for individualized and bulk equipment. Rental rates are entered by category/class, and the ID number for bulk items is the category/class ID. components that are always rented together.
First, mark a category/class as a Kit in Category/Class Maintenance, and then open this program to enter the components of the kit.

Access this screen by entering a valid rental kit number on the Rental Kit Maintenance - Launch screen. Indicate whether the kit has one rental rate as a package or whether the rental rates for each component are used. Enter the category/classes that are components of the kit, and specify the quantity of each component.

Displays the number of the kit you want to maintain. The kit number is the reservation item number of the category/class that you have marked as a Kit in Category/Class Maintenance.
Displays the description of the rental kit category/class.
Indicate whether the kit has one rental rate as a package (Y), or whether the rental rates for each component are used (N).
Indicate whether the user can change any of the components of the kit when it is entered on a contract.
Enter the number of the category/class that is a component of the rental kit.
Alternately, enter the reservation item number for the category/class that is a component of the rental kit.
Enter the quantity of the component in the rental kit.
Displays a description of the category/class component.
Determines whether or not the user is allowed to change the quantity of this component once it is entered on a contract.
