Use this screen to launch the Category/Class Maintenance program to create, update, and review category/classTwo-part classification for individualized and bulk equipment. Rental rates are entered by category/class, and the ID number for bulk items is the category/class ID. records. Category/class records are used to classify your bulk and serialized equipment.

When you first access this screen, it is in Change mode. You can enter a category and class combination to modify, or you can use the PgDn and PgUp keys to roll through the category/class master file to find the record you want to modify. If you only want to view an existing category/class record, press F10 to put the program into Inquiry mode. Any record that you access is view-only.
To create a new category/class record, enter the numerical codes for both the category and the class, and if that combination does not exist, the program changes to Add mode and allows entry of the new record.
