Use this screen to review the itemization of taxes on a rental contract.
Click a link to advance to that section of the topic.
Access this screen by pressing F14 (Shift + F2) from the Create/Update Rental - Review screen. This screen is also available from the Review screen for other rental and sales transactions. Review tax details. Enter a 1 in the S column to drill into the detail of the listed tax charges.

Displays the number of the rental contract and the name of the customer associated with it.
Displays the state and city jurisdiction for tax purposes.
Indicates whether the job location for the contract is inside the city limits. This setting is used by Vertex to determine if special taxation applies to sales and rentals on this contract.
Displays the county where the job is located.
If you are using Vertex for tax calculations, this field displays the geographical code assigned to the job location for the contract.
Displays the total amount of the contract that is subject to taxation.
Displays the total tax charged for the rental contract.

Displays the name or number associated with the item being taxed on the contract.
Displays the description of the item being taxed on the contract.
Indicates whether the amount being taxed is from standard rates or special rates determined by your tax software.
Displays the amount for the item that is subject to taxation.
Displays the percentage of tax charged for the item.
Displays the amount charged for tax for the item. This is the Taxable Amount times the Tax Percentage.
