Use this program to create and maintain source codes that are associated with customer records to indicate how the customer heard about your company.

 

Use control record SRCRQD to determine if this field is required in Customer Master Maintenance, and what the field label should be.

Fields

Source Code

Displays the source code you are maintaining.

 

Description

Enter a full description for the source code.

 

Short Description

Enter a brief description for the source code that displays in lookup windows and inquiry screens.

 

Call Type

Enter a user-defined non-validated code that describes the call type (such as C for Cold Call) for the customer that is assigned this source code.

 

Effort Type

Enter a user-defined non-validated code that describes the effort type (such as S for Strong) for the customer that is assigned this source code.

 

Logo

If applicable, enter up to eight characters of user-defined text that describes a logo for the customer that is assigned this source code.

 

Classification

If applicable, enter up to 10 characters of user-defined text that classifies customers that are assigned this source code.

 

Last Maintained Date

Displays the date that the source code was last maintained.

 

Last Maintained Time

Displays the time that the source code was last maintained.

 

Last Maintained By

Displays the user ID of the last person who maintained the source code.
